LED bulbs will usually last for 10+ years before burning out yes, but they will NOT have the same luminous output in say after 3-4 years of use compared to brand new bulbs. This is called luminous decay.
So basically if you're going to use LED bulbs for your reef aquarium, then you will need to replace them every 2 years (or follow the suggested replacement time frame) or they are just not bright enough for your corals.
The reason why Cree LED costs 1/3 more is not because of the lifespan, but more on the light output. I do not have solid data but Cree LED out-performs SemiLED for about 50-60% in terms of PAR output.
And yes you can replace the bulbs with Cree's later when prices go down a little. The G2 units came with 3-pin connectors (refer to page 3 of this thread for spec sheet), so you can either buy the LED from the manufacturer or solder a few pieces yourself and plug it in.
Riassumendo dice che i LED durano si 10 anni, ma mantengono buone prestazioni per i coralli per non più di 2 anni, dopo sono da sostituire.
I LED Cree non costano di più perchè durano di più ma perche hanno una resa luminosa superiore di 1/3.
Dice che nelle plafo G2 la basetta di alloggiamento dei LED è fatta in modo da poter alloggiare anche i Cree e quando scenderanno di prezzo si potranno sostituire i Semiled di queste plafo con i Cree.
Almeno questo è quello che ho capito io... qualcuno che mastica l'inglese meglio di me ( e ci vuole poco) corregga se ho tradotto delle ca**ate
0 riesco a coprire una vasca 92x52x52 sia in lunghezza che in larghezza.
000 ore che diviso per 10 ore giornaliere medie sono circa 6-7 anni un tempo decisamente accettabile.
