We recommend to check also the other nitrate tests used with a standard. From the results you got with our Nitrate Test and the standard it doesn´t look like our Test is showing high values.

Anregungen: Hello, I need support for a technical problem in NO2/NO3 test I purchased, product n. 280-90, 7/2013.
I first measured NO2 in my tank and get 0.0 mg/l.
Then I measured NO3 and get more than 10mg/l, but I was surprised as with the previous Tropic test I alway measured NO3 <1mg/l. Therefore I repeated the test again but I obtained the same result. Finally, I tried to measure NO3 in new saltwater prepared two day ago and I obtained NO3<1mg/l but when I used the 5 drops of the control liquid, the colour did not reach the 30mg/l but stopped at about 10mg/l.
I measured also values of saltwater in a different tank where two other test (Salifert and NTLabs) measured NO3 about 7-8mg/l and Tropic give me more than 50!
Please, could you give me a support?
