Did you know that keeping these pico tanks inside a house with 4 15 inch pa speakers and live band The Coral gear trains not to withdraw upon physical shaking? the bass drum can move the pictures on my wall but the corals stay open after about 5 minutes each jam session. For the next two hours they will not close up, I see so many signs of higher processing in these animals they fascinate me. thanks for reading!

if you cut hanger wire at a sharp angle you have a stepped scraping tool. it scratches sometimes, but removes coralline algae thoroughly!

also this, a razor blade and surgical tools

and this one, I can slip a piece of scouring pad for dish washing, a little cut disk, in between the miniature scraper I built it will cut microalgae on the glass which is harder than coralline algae to remove

2 of the same 13 watt power compacts.

Since the sealed tank is half gallon, thats 52 watts per gallon so it needs a fan! The vase does not need a fan/

Something changed today for the first time in years...I have found possibly another coral that cannot live in the unskimmed vase without chemically stinging all the other corals

the red goniopora from my picture above

it did well for a couple weeks but im noticing my blastomussa and hydnos acting funny. my options are to change water 3x per week for a month and see if it stops, but if any polyps show more wear I will take it out and sell it.

Despite the common explanations for coral death coming from other corals, I have found most corals get along within the gallon well. litophyton, and now gonipora, seem to be exceptions to the rule!
