C'è una fiaba, la leggenda del Rainbow Bridge, mi ha sempre aiutato ogni volta che un nostro compagno peloso se ne è andato, te la scrivo qui:

"Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

sinceramente devo dire che mi sono molto commosso nel leggerti, e personalmente ti posso capire anche se non ho cani, ma bensì due gattoni, purtroppo è una cosa che mi assilla la mente di continuo e mi fa star male al pensiero che anche io un giorno quando le mie due creature non saranno più con me.
Un solo consiglio ti posso dare, se decidi di continuare con un altro amico a quattro zampe, anche io concordo nel prenderlo in uno di quei canili che purtroppo sono i lager per i nostri cari e amati amici.

Mi dispiace veramente tanto, mai avrei voluto leggere questo messaggio, anzi, speravo tanto che ci dicessi che ce l'aveva fatta...
