non uso facebook... #12
per๒ quello che ho letto dal sito ่ che..... non hanno dati certi! il loro strumento di lettura dell'apogee non funzionava sotto ai led (dava dati molto differenti da una volta all'altra nelle misurazioni) #28d#

ALCUNI DATI

Metal Halide Lighting - Radium MH - two 400 watt MH plus two 1000 watt MH giving us a total of 2800 watts

LED Lighting - Twelve modules of Ecotech Radion LEDs were mounted using fiberglass unistrut - The reason we chose this light was because it has 5 color channels that are controlled individually. This control allows greater flexibility for manipulating spectrum for this experiment. We want to optimize color and growth of coral.

-Read more about why LED PAR numbers have a large margin of error: Email from Apogee Instuments

-Wattage on each side - 2800 MH (two 400 watt MH + two 1000 watt MH) VS 1680 LED (12 modules at 140 watts each)

-Par meter is pointing on top of coral that the number in the picture is sitting on. See next post for coral names.

-Tank dimensions: 168" long by 36" wide by 30" tall. The viewing window in the picture is 25" due to the canopy

-Some light must pass through acrylic top bracing which covers parts of the tank.

-LED settings were chosen based on making the LED side look as close to the MH side as possible using the naked eye.

-Also, we chose to hang light 15" above water instead of the recommended 10" by Ecotech. We went back and forth on this but we needed the 15" of accessibility to properly get inside and maintain the aquarium. So far, this is working well and coral on both sides of the tank are encrusting.

-Conclusion: Since we do not have an instrument to accurately measure PAR for LEDs, the numbers included for the LED side are "very loose guides." The actual numbers may be 20% higher. Going forward, we'll use our naked eyes and photos to describe and compare color and growth of coral.

metto due foto.

ad occhio comunque mi sembra che la parte delle HQI sia molto pi๙ luminosa... anche i PAR ringraziano le hqi, per๒ i dati dei led sono un po' falsati..
